Celebrating Mother's Week

A Mother
A Mother is one who
understands the things
you say and do
Who always overlooks
your faults and sees the
best in you
A Mother is one whose
special love inspires you
day by day.
Who fills your heart with
gladness in her warm
and thoughtful way.
A Mother is all these things
and more-the greatest
treasure known.
And the dearest Mother in
all the world is the one I
call my own.

Sunday is Mother's Day and I thought instead of just celebrating our mother's one day this week we could celebrate all week. I am going to celebrate my mom all week from a distance because I will not be able to be with her on her special day. I was thinking of a beautiful breakfast or maybe a ladies tea, perhaps gift ideas, and who knows what else. I think it will come to me in the next few days.

In the meantime, I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and that you have a fabulous week!

  4. How beautiful, dear Elizabeth...
I have tears in my eyes after reading this poem, which rings so true for my mom. I was blessed with a mother who inspired the best in everyone she touched.
Celebrating all week is indeed a marvelous idea, sweet friend!

On to the next post :)
    Love and hugs,
