Friday Favorites Decor 8, Centsational Girl, Grandbaby Cakes, Calypso in the Country, Spicy Southern Kitchen and More

Good morning! I am so excited that it is a three day weekend and the 4th of July! I love this holiday as I explained the other day and I am looking forward to the fireworks, friends and lots of summer food!

Another thing I love is bbq food! But then again if you have visited here before you probably know that. Burgers, potato salad, baked beans and of course desserts are my favorite things to munch on.

Ultimate Bacon Cheddar Burger from Grandbaby Cakes

A burger is always on my list for the 4th, I know some people are hot dog fans but not me, I like burgers. I am hopping to have a smaller version of this scrumptious looking Ulitimate Bacon Cheeseburger from my new favorite blog Grandbaby Cakes.

Loaded Ranch Potato Salad

This Loaded Ranch Potato Salad from Spicy Southern Kitchen is on my list for this weekends festivities.

I already have a pan of these Fudgy Raspberry Brownies on my table and I may or may not have sampled a few. They are fabulous by the way.

In case you want to decorate your lawn  you can check out this post from Concrete Cottage for details.

Here are a few more summer reading suggestions from Calypso in the Country in case you have already read your stack this summer.

Red, white and blue is everywhere this week in celebration of the 4th of July, if you would like to make these colors more permanent in your house check out this post by Censational Girl to get a few ideas.

This has nothing to do with summer or the holiday but I love this post, An Honest Cup of Coffee by Holly of Decor 8.

I hope that you have a happy and safe 4th of July weekend!

  1. That bacon cheeseburger is insane. I would try to take a bite to get a little of everything, and it wouldn't be pretty.
I makes me think of the Belgian "mitraillette" (which actually means machine gun)--a gigantic subway sandwich with the fries INSIDE, the way this burger has the onion rings inside, but horizontal rather than vertical.
I'd pick onion rings over fries any day. Even Belgian fries, which are the best.
