Life & Lemons

Good morning! Did you have a nice weekend? Mine was relaxing.  The weather was beautiful so I spent a lot of time outside planting my containers, playing with my pups and reading and enjoying the weather.

I don't know about you but summer always reminds me of lemonade, lazy afternoons and time at the beach. Lately everywhere I look there are lemons; placemats, napkins, rugs, plates, art and more to decorate your home. Then there are the candles, scented oils, and lotions in case you would like to add a touch of the summer scent to your person or your room.

I love cooking and baking with lemons, lemon vinaigrette, chicken with preserved lemons, Lemon Blueberry Cake, lemon bars and of course summer drinks with lots of fresh squeezed lemon juice.

Are you a fan of lemons, lemonade and lemon decor? If you want to add a touch of summer to your house I found a few things you might like.

I hope that you have a great day!

  1. I love lemons! When I was a teen a hundred years ago, I used Lemon Up shampoo. I bought myself a lemon candle at WS over the weekend. Have a great week, Elizabeth.

  2. Beware that limonade (sounds a lot like lemonade but with a French accent) is a kind of lemony-sugary soda pop, but if you want lemonade, you have to ask for a citron pressé, and then you can add sugar to your liking.

  3. Hello Elizabeth,
It sounds like you had a fruitful weekend in many ways. It is so great to be outside planting and then to enjoy the delectable taste of lemon served in various ways.
Hope you had a lovely Easter

  5. There's a place I stop in occasionally that offers lemon cranberry muffins. It's an odd combination, but it tastes good.
