Friday Favorites from Ashley Marie, Delish, Half Baked Harvest, Nora Murphy and More

Good morning! How was your week? Mine was great, as I mentioned yesterday I have just returned from 12 days in Argentina. It is summer there so it was incredibly hot and its a little strange because there were no Christmas decorations so it did not feel like the holidays were coming at all. I am happy to be home and ready to start baking.

I have a list of about 10 cookies that I always bake for the holidays but this year I feel like trying a few new cookies out and this recipe from Ashley Marie for Vanilla Bean Danish Butter Cookies looks like a winner!

I also have these Lemon Pistachio Wreaths from Delish on my list of new cookies to try this year.

I have wanted to make a yule log or a bouche de noel for ever but I am a little intimidated by the rolling process. This year I am going to conquer my fears and make this easy and delicious looking yule log cake from Kitchn

Every party needs a signature cocktail and these Cranberry Orange Margaritas from Half Baked Harvest look perfect!

While many are searching for the perfect gifts for the holidays the stockings are often overlooked. This list from The Modern Mrs. Darcy is filled with 70 great ideas so that you do not even have to think about it!

I love Christmas, and the decorations are one of my favorite parts. Although I have my favorite decorations I am continually in search of inspiration and this post from Nora Murphy Country House is filled to the brim with beautiful ideas for decorating the whole house.

Did you find anything exiting this week? If so please share your recipes, books, movies and more we would love to hear about them.
