Good morning! Happy Friday to you, did you have a good week? Mine was pretty uneventful as I spent most of it trying to get back into my routine and taking care of the tasks that pile up when one is out of town.

Pasta is one of my favorite things to eat especially if they contain my favorite Fall foods. This recipe for Butternut Squash Pasta with Chicken and Bacon from Dinner at the Zoo is perfect for a cool Fall evening.

Doesn't this Crunchy Autum Pasta Salad from Chelsea's Messy Apron look delicious? I cannot wait to make this!

It's going to be a cool Fall weekend here and I have a basket of apples so I think I will make this Harvest Apple Pie.

This post will have you looking twice at the art the next time you stroll through a museum.

Are you a fan of Kate Middleton? Here is the untold story of her engagement ring. Yes there is more to the ring than the fact that it was Princess Diana's.

Oscar de la Renta is an icon of fashion, this Exhibit in Houston at the Museum of Fine Arts features some of his stunning pieces including Amal Clooney's wedding dress.

Thanksgiving is a month away so there is still time to order your invitations. Here are a few of my favorites. I love the idea of a printed invitation or even a family photo

Did you make, read, do or see anything interesting this week that you want to share? I am particularly interested in soup recipes if you have them.

I hope that you have a great weekend.

  1. Re the museum, there's a Canadian photographer, François Brunelle, who spent 12 years tracking down people who look like identical twins but who aren't even related. We're more alike than we realize. Google the Doppelganger project.
