Friday Favorites from Taste of France, House of Harper, The Vault Files, Simply Delicious and More

Good morning! I am happy it is Friday; cold, snowy,  weather makes me want to stay in and be a slug and I can only do that on the weekends.

Weekends call for comfort food, and this Rosemary Cream Chicken Pasta from Simply Delicious looks like it would be perfect.

I love chocolate chip cookies! I discovered this recipe a few months ago and have since made it about 20 times for friends and family. If you enjoy a crunchy caramel cookie outside, with a soft chocolaty middle than than you will love these cookies. I think they are perfect right from the oven sprinkled with sea salt.

I want to make these Melt in Your Mouth Cookies from Munaty Cooking  for Valentines Day, I just have to figure how to make a reasonably shaped heart with my piping bag. The good news is that I can keep the misshapen ones for myself!

For those of you who are trying to Tame Your Sweet Tooth these No-Bake Chocolate Protein Bites might be better.

I like cocktails and if you do as well, here are 25 Cocktails for Valentines Day that you might like.

This is such a great idea, The Kindness Challenge from House of Harper.

This post "Umoja" which is “unity” in Swahili, the national language of Kenya and of Tanzania from the blog Taste of France is fabulous! Get yourself a cup of tea, coffee,  cocoa or perhaps a cocktail and savor every word. I got goosebumps reading it and had tears in my eyes by the end.

I know that many of you love movies, just for fun come and take the Iconic Movie Props quiz HERE.  I got a perfect score.

Please share your favorite movie, book, podcast and recipe from the week with us.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Because of you I'm going to the grocery to get stuff for my own personally-made big vat of SOUP. It's still cold in Houston, we have definitely had winter this season, even snowed twice! Soup is one of my favorite things, even at restaurants. Sending a big hug, my friend.....

  3. The white chocolate cookies are so tempting! We were out of school most of the week. I was a slug 🐌! I did have a chance to write a little... something I haven’t had the time for lately. Have a wonderful weekend!
