Is there anything better on a cold winter day then a steaming bowl of soup and some homemade bread slathered in butter? 1. I had already printed out #2 of the Herby French Shallot Soup recently and have it in my "make next" folder. It looks wonderful! And I just printed out your #5 for the Browned Butter Cauliflower soup. I see that it's an America's Test Kitchen recipe and everything they come up with is good. I have their Mediterranean cookbook and everything I've tried has been a hit.

Actually, all of your soup recommendations look delicious. I think our cold weather will be returning soon and I will be cooking soup. Nice suggestions!
