I've never tried the Outlander series, probably the only woman who hasn't! I'm writing down Ferney, sounds like one I'd like. Love all the others. I tried to think of others I loved over the years. I enjoyed some of Elizabeth Buchan's especially Consider the Lily. Almost all of Rosamunde Pilcher's, especially Winter Soltice. And here's an author from the 30s-50s, Frances Parkinson Keyes, ever heard of her? I still have about 20 of her novels and non-fiction. And then there are the D. E. Stevenson books that I think I have the complete collection, light romance stories taking place in England of the 40s through 60s that are my comfort books to reread at bedtime when I need gentle reading.Dewenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07330797553600987145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010931580827952387.post-80658818202101409612019-02-07T09:40:50.588-05:002019-02-07T09:40:50.588-05:00I very rarely read romance novels. But The Time Traveler's Wife and Like Water For Chocolate sound intriguing. <br />BrendaBrenda Pruitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14544794729410559072noreply@blogger.com
